ADP's Theatre Stars Performing Arts Creative Team are made up by some very talent performers from around Melbourne. Our faculty have strong connections with Community Theatre and Broadway, USA. Our team will help guide young performers who have the passion for the performing arts industry.

About Our Faculty

Bridie Clark

Bridie has been in the performing arts industry for over 28 years.

Trained at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne, Australia under the previous Artistic Director of Beverly J. Fry graduating in 2010 with an Advance Diploma in Dance (CUA5011) she often returned to the National to teach and perform in various performances while working within the industry in Melbourne until 2014.

Bridie has been working with other dancers and choreographers from around the world for over 10 years.

In 2014 Bridie moved to New York City after receiving a scholarship to AMDA, another opportunity arose for her to further her career in New York through Peridance Capezio Center where she graduated there independent studies with High Honors in 2017 while performing and working with various artists such as famous Tap dancers Jason Samuel-Smith, Ballerina Misty Copeland, Sue Samuels' Jazz Roots Dance Company as well as The Colombian Dance Company of New York and many others. Bridie has performed in various shows, galas, musicals, films, productions  in Australia and United States including Cats, 42nd Street, The King & I, Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Still Waiting in The Wings and The Water Stinger Bridie was also requested to be a featured dancer in the Phoblographer LLC and Canon photoshoot in 2018.

Bridie has trained many performers over the years and many have become successful artists and performers within the industry and she continues educating all dancers and performers on how to make it with in the industry. 

Molly Whytcross

Molly Whytcross started dance when she was 4 years old at her local dance studio. She trained in all styles from a young age and became a part of the competition program at her studio in 2014.

Molly competed in all styles at various different competitions over the Eastcoast of Australia and won numerous awards at National competitions in both dance and musical theatre.

At the age of 15 Molly began student teaching at her studio and found her passion in passing her knowledge onto the younger students. Molly began teaching her own classes at the age of 17 and teaches ages from 2-17 in various genres.

Alongside being a dance teacher at Beaconhills College in Berwick since 2022, she is studying a Bachelor of Education P-12 graduating in 2024.

Molly is also currently studying her Certificate IV in dance teaching and management and is Keep Kids Safe in Dance accredited teacher. Molly is Alumni of the Australian Dancers Project as she danced in the 2020 video for you will be found.

Molly cant wait to join the team for TSPA and meet you all this year!

John Pendergast

John is a highly experienced director, performer and educator who made his debut a

long time ago, in the distant 80’s, as a sheep in his Prep Nativity Play. Since then, John has worked extensively both on- and off-stage.

John’s on-stage highlights include Dr Dillamond in Wicked (Nova Music Theatre), Eugene in Grease (FabNobs), The Professor/The Wizard in The Wizard of Oz (Nova Music Theatre), Father Patrick in Dimboola (Dandenong Theatre Company), Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Purely Pensive Productions), and Hugo in The Vicar of Dibley (BATS Theatre Company).

Directorial credits include: A Chorus Line: Teen Edition (MLOC Productions), Calendar Girls (BATSTheatre Company), The Addams Family Young@Part (BATS Theatre Company), and Tuck Everlasting (Flinders College). In 2024, John will be directing Into The Woods with MLOC ProductionsJohn has taught both Drama and Theatre Studies from Primary through to VCE. He enjoys taking

students on the journey that shows them that the dramatic arts are more than just playing a few games. The dramatic arts should tell a story and have a message, so he works with his students to ensure they bring meaning to what they are telling in their performances.

Behind the scenes, John has also worked in a large number of production roles including Production Management, Publicity, Programme Design, Set Design and Construction, Stage Managing, and Props.​
