Musical In A Week
This is a week-long performing arts intensive where young performers work with experienced creative teams to rehearse and prepare a fully staged musical performance in just one week. It’s designed to immerse children in singing, dancing, acting, stagecraft and teamwork, culminating in live, costumed shows performed at the end of the program.
What Happens During The Week
Throughout the week, participants:

Take classes in singing, dance, acting and stage performance with industry-skilled instructors.

Rehearse scenes, songs and choreography intensively as an ensemble.

Learn about costuming, staging and professional presentation.

Build confidence, creativity, and team skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Live Onstage Musical Production
At the end of the week (on January 18th, 2026), the Kids Musical Production Cast presents a live theatrical performance featuring:

Full costumes and staged production elements.

An audience of family and friends — giving young performers a professional-style moment in the spotlight.

In 2026, the program is especially exciting because ADP is presenting TWO distinct shows in the same week — a first for the organisation.
Do I Need To Audition?
The Audition requirement for either of our Musicals is one (1) 30 second video of yourself singing any song that showcases your voice!

This helps our Creative Teams pick the appropriate role / character best suited to your vocal range and tone.

You can sing anything! from Taylor Swift to Wicked there is no restriction on what style of song

Still struggling to pick a song, you can sing Happy Birthday, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or even your A, B, C's!

This audition process is the first step of our program! all auditions will be accepted, we don't turn anyone away!

Age restrictions apply: Kids Musical - 5 years to 14 years as of the 1st of January 2026
